A big cargo ship that was carrying luxurious automobiles from Germany to the U.S. sank Tuesday within the mid-Atlantic — practically two weeks after a fireplace broke out on board, in accordance with Portuguese navy officers.

Officers confirmed that the ship, Felicity Ace, misplaced stability and sank about 250 miles off Portugal’s Azores islands because it was being towed to land. The ship sank in a location exterior Portugal’s financial zone in an space that is practically 2 miles deep.
