BRIGHAM CITY — Brigham Metropolis police have arrested a person who they are saying was concerned in a success and run crash that significantly injured a 76-year-old man Saturday night time.

Eddy Garza, 67, was booked into the Field Elder County Jail for investigation of failure to stay on the scene of an accident, Brigham Metropolis Police Chief Chad Reyes mentioned.

The 76-year-old man was crossing the road and was hit within the southbound lane in entrance of a fuel station close to 600 S. Foremost about 7:20 p.m., Brigham Metropolis police mentioned. The person was transported to the hospital with critical accidents.

“He seems like he’ll make it however he does have some fairly critical accidents and he’ll be within the hospital for some time,” Reyes mentioned.
